History of Work in Progress (2021-2023)

Work in Progress (WIPTX) was a response to severe weather impacts from the infamous Texas Winter Storm of February 2021 that left millions without power, water, and heat. Starting with three benefit shows in Dallas & Houston, WIPTX's Jam Sesh Music & Art Experience raised $5,200+ for Texas Food Banks. For two subsequent years, the organization produced 49 more events in Oklahoma City, Brooklyn, Austin, and around DFW; ultimately staging over 300 artists, donating 40,000+ meals to local food banks, and raising $3,000 for St. Baldrick's Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
